چکیده

This paper introduces a topology for achieving the brushless operation of wound rotor vernier motor using single-phase additional winding on stator, specifically designed variable-speed applications e.g., washing machines. In proposed topology, stator consists two sets: four-pole three-phase main and an two-pole winding. On other hand, contains 44-pole field to generate effect, excitation induction. The produces fundamental component MMF, while generates subharmonics MMF induce current in rotor. is connected rotating rectifier supply direct rotor’s interaction responsible production torque. presence subharmonic air gap confirmed through Fourier analysis obtained from function. Moreover, validated 2D finite element (FEM) variable speed application.

Stator Core Stator Winding in Slots Rotor

Induction machines are perhaps the most widely used of all electric motors. They are generally simple to build and rugged, offer reasonable asynchronous performance: a manageable torque-speed curve, stable operation under load, and generally satisfactory efficiency. Because they are so widely used, they are worth understanding. In addition to their current economic importance, induction motors ...

Double Layer Magnet Design Technique for Cogging Torque Reduction of Dual Rotor Single Stator Axial Flux Brushless DC Motor

Cogging torque is the major limitation of axial flux permanent magnet motors. The reduction of cogging torque during the design process is highly desirable to enhance the overall performance of axial flux permanent magnet motors. This paper presents a double-layer magnet design technique for cogging torque reduction of axial flux permanent magnet motor. Initially, 250 W, 150 rpm axial flux brus...

Design and Development of Three Phase Permanent Magnet Brushless DC (PM BLDC) Motor for Variable Speed

A major part of the power consumption in the low-wattage reciprocating compressors, used for household refrigeration units, is associated with the motor. A variable speed compressor as opposed to a single speed compressor is known to provide energy savings due to its ability to match the load demand from the pump more closely to the power delivered by the pump. The current article presents an o...

Increasing the Efficiency of the Power Electronic Converter for a Proposed Dual Stator Winding Squirrel-Cage Induction Motor Drive Using a Five-Leg Inverter at Low Speeds

A dual stator winding squirrel-cage induction motor (DSWIM) is a brushless single-frame induction motor that contains a stator with two isolated three-phase windings wound with dissimilar numbers of poles. Each stator winding is fed by an independent three-phase inverter. The appropriate efficiency of this motor is obtained when the ratio of two frequencies feeding the machine is equal to the r...
